Jeremy and June Astfalck opened The Old Corkscrew in Franschhoek, a picturesque town which is nestled in the Winelands of the Western Cape in 1994 and have built a reputation of sourcing the very best that is to be found in the world of antiques.

Dealing primarily in silver they supply many collectors and state institutions with silver ranging from highly collectable card cases to massive silver centre pieces for the dining table.

Jeremy is a silversmith with years of experience in repair and restoration of silver and this is backed by his passion for the subject. Owning an antique shop in the Winelands has led to an ever changing array of stock to do with wine and The Old Corkscrew has the largest collection of corkscrews available for sale in South Africa.
